Must Haves:
-1+ year of recent relevant experience in an operations and/or technical role
- Must be comfortable in a heavy phone support environment taking close to 200 quick transactions per day
- Excellent professionalism and communication is a must!
- Must be ok with loud audio, such as windy static noise, loud AC noise, loud operation/equipment noise, etc.
- Overall technically savvy, and must be a quick learner
- All candidates must be ok working over most holidays as Amazon operates 365 24/7.
-All candidates must be ok working from home 2 days a week, and in the office 3 days week. After training, you pick which 2 days are WFH!
- All candidates must be ok working MET (mandatory extra time) when enforced (1.5 pay)
Day to Day:
We're hiring Gate Agents for a fortune 500 company to support thousands of drivers across North America. Using a two-way audio/video communication to verify/identity any necessary specifications on trucks and processes, you will be coordinating, communicating, and providing updates on a daily basis to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading and departure at warehouses, facilities and distribution centers. We are looking for candidates that are extremely detail oriented, can work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, and are quick learners and technically savvy. This team is able to take on all gate operations and allow those associates onsite to focus on the daily operations onsite that need to be completed. On a daily basis, you will be speaking to roughly 200 drivers a day, so excellent and clear communication is a must.
Schedule : Wednesday-Sunday, 9-5:30 PM - off Monday and Tuesday
Location : hybrid in Tempe, AZ - after training, you pick which 2 days are WFH
Pay : 20.82/hr
