Job Description

Project Manager - Product Diversification (EST)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading insurance company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the rollout and expansion of new Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products. This role is critical in ensuring alignment between business readiness tasks and the supporting technical implementation—two areas that are highly interdependent for success. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a solid background in both insurance product delivery and cross-functional project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the development, rollout, and expansion of new P&C insurance products.
  • Ensure synchronization between business and technical workstreams, recognizing and managing the dependencies across both.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, underwriters, IT teams, and vendors to drive project execution.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at all levels, providing timely and transparent updates.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating and resolving roadblocks as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery by tracking against defined success criteria and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Support the creation and documentation of repeatable project frameworks and best practices for future product rollouts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, ideally in insurance.
  • Proven track record managing large, cross-functional initiatives involving both business and technical teams.
  • Experience with insurance product launches, especially in the P&C domain, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, IT, or a related field.
