Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to leave liaison; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring
• confidential and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Manage communication with agencies
• Implements and conducts new hire orientation.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Other HR initiatives and projects as needed in coordination with HR corporate.
• Must adhere to company core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
• Comply with Safety SOPs, SDS sheets, and laboratory procedures per company policy and OSHA regulations.
Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Min of 2+ years of HR Generalist/ HR management experience
