Job Description

Role: Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant

Duration: 8 months

REMOTE: YES (Must work EST or CST hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead technical-functional resource for Oracle Fusion Financials issues and ad hoc analysis
• Create and troubleshoot complex financial reports (e.g., custom aging reports with 1000+ scenarios)
• Investigate outliers and missing report data using Oracle standard tables and architecture
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract and validate data across financial modules
• Analyze financial records and transactions to identify discrepancies and reporting gaps
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders across time zones (U.S., Mexico, Spain)

Expertise Required:

• Oracle Fusion Financials: Expert-level knowledge across Core Financials, Fixed Assets, P&L, BOMs, and Purchasing
• Strong functional finance background with ability to interpret complex accounting and depreciation rules
• SQL mastery: ability to write and optimize advanced queries within Oracle's database structure
• Reporting proficiency: SSRS, BI Publisher, or custom report creation within Oracle
• Proven experience reviewing custom reports, understanding gaps, and identifying solutions independently

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of financial systems experience, with a strong recent focus on Oracle Fusion Financials
• Proven ability to function independently as a trusted consultant/adviser to finance and operations
• Strong communicator, capable of bridging technical and functional conversations
• Able to manage flexible hours and overlapping global time zones as needed
