Real Estate Analyst (Land Analyst)

Conyers, GA

Bring your experience in real estate development, underwriting, financial analysis, etc and join our client - a Fortune 500 Residential Builder who has been the leader in their industry for over 20 years straight.

Highlights:

  • Market Leader : Largest developer in Atlanta – strong land buying power
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office + 2 days in the field/remote
  • Exposure: This person will be the sole Analyst in a $250MM real estate business, will sit at the deal table alongside the President and VP, and have their name on numerous major development projects in the region

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with due diligence, underwriting, contracts and securing potential development projects
  • Analyze the East Atlanta housing market; provide market data, insights analyses and recommendations to support multimillion dollar regional land investment decisions

Responsibilities:

  • Perform due diligence and underwriting of prospective acquisitions and developments
  • Run proformas to determine viability of all potential land acquisitions
  • Provide support for the acquisition, financing, and development process
  • Prepare financial modeling to support and guide acquisition decisions
  • Prepare presentation materials on new and existing investments for internal and external uses
  • Analyze and monitor the financial performance of properties including financial modeling, benchmarking to budget, and collaborating with management in executing business plans
  • Assist with analysis of the overall market and monitor industry trends
  • Administer and manage databases
  • Manage all the reporting and accounting aspects of the land acquisition department

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-5 years of related analysis experience within real estate development industry
  • Financial, accounting, market analysis, due diligence and underwriting backgrounds are all highly preferred
  • Be a wiz with excel and have experience using profomas extensively
  • Knowledge of the Homebuilding industry is a big plus!
