We're seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Settlement Processor with experience in commercial and residential closings and strong knowledge of the entire settlement process.
Proficiency with Qualia software is required.'
This role will be eligible for remote work after the initial training period in Bethesda, MD.
Key Responsibilities
Manage real estate transactions in Qualia from contract through pre-post-closing.
Schedule closings with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
Prepare title packages for lenders, including:
Tax info cover sheet, CPL, jurisdiction-specific wiring instructions
Survey (if applicable), preliminary Closing Disclosure
Title Commitment (provided by internal team)
Draft required documents : ALTA Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, notices, affidavits, escrow agreements, and local/federal disclosures.
(Deeds provided by attorneys)
Coordinate remote closings via RON or mobile notary.
Collect and verify:
Loan payoffs, HOA/condo statements, tax bills, invoices
Title-clearing items (e.g., death/marriage certificates, trust docs)
Confirm outgoing wires meet fraud prevention protocols.
Work with lenders to finalize disclosures and balance funding.
Ensure compliance with DC, MD, and VA settlement laws.
Provide top-tier service to clients and stakeholders.
2+ years in settlement processing or title/escrow roles
Proficiency in Qualia or similar software
Deep understanding of real estate closings and documentation
DMV market knowledge preferred
Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and communication skills
