Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented Restructuring Associate to join nationally recognized Restructuring and Insolvency group of a Major US law firm. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience representing creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders in complex Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed asset transactions.

This is a high-profile opportunity to work on market-leading restructurings across a range of industries including retail, energy, healthcare, real estate, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent debtors, creditors, equity holders, sponsors, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and cross-border insolvency matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery materials, restructuring plans, and related documentation.
• Participate in plan negotiations, bankruptcy court hearings, and Section 363 sales.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis on bankruptcy code, case law, and commercial finance matters.
• Provide legal and strategic advice in distressed lending, DIP financing, workouts, and liability management transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues in litigation, finance, M&A, and tax on interdisciplinary restructuring matters.
