Superintendent – Commercial Roofing (Tampa, FL)

We are hiring on behalf of a reputable commercial roofing contractor based in Tampa, FL , seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join their growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires more than just oversight—you’ll be expected to jump in when needed, lead by example, and keep jobs on track through thoughtful action and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial roofing projects
• Step in physically when needed – handling materials, assisting crews, ensuring momentum
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance
• Solve problems on the fly and make sound, timely decisions
• Follow through on quality control and corrective actions
• Communicate clearly and confidently with project teams and leadership
• Be available for occasional weekends or overnight work based on project needs

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing or exterior construction
• Willing and able to physically support the crew as needed
• Sharp eye for detail, with the drive to ensure the job gets done right
• Not a bystander or constant reporter – you act, manage, and move things forward
