Senior Project Finance Attorney – Infrastructure & PPP Specialist | San Francisco, CA

A top Am Law 200 firm is seeking an experienced infrastructure associate to join its thriving Energy & Infrastructure practice in San Francisco. This is a rare opportunity to lead complex public-private partnerships, drop-down transactions, and energy infrastructure deals at a nationally recognized firm.

This role places you at the heart of California’s infrastructure development scene, advising key players including equity sponsors, financing parties, and private-sector stakeholders. This preeminent San Francisco firm offers a full-service practice which covers a number of areas, including: Litigation, Corporate, Tax, Environmental, Labor & Employment, and Real Estate. Many of the firm's top clients are investment banks, but, in recent years, the firm has expanded its intellectual property litigation practice. The atmosphere is collegial, but slightly more conservative than most Bay Area firms. Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on public-private partnerships (PPP) and related infrastructure transactions

• Represent equity investors, lenders, and project sponsors in project financing and drop-down deals

• Deliver strategic counsel and innovative legal solutions across all phases of development

• Collaborate with leading attorneys and client executives in a fast-paced environment

• Manage complex deals with a high degree of autonomy and client interaction

Qualifications:

• 6 to 9+ years of experience in infrastructure law, particularly PPP and project finance

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active membership in the California State Bar

• Strong communication and client management skills

• Proven track record in handling sophisticated infrastructure transactions
