About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python development, experience with modern frameworks and tools, and a solid understanding of backend architecture and APIs. This role involves working closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python-based applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to define system requirements and deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

• 8+ years of professional software development experience using Python
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) or machine learning frameworks.
