Job Description

Primary Function

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations including material

control, rotating inventory, in-storage maintenance, cycle-counts, recordkeeping, and vehicle

fleet oversight. You will be hands-on in executing daily warehouse functions while ensuring

compliance with safety, inventory integrity, and internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials
  • Execute material control, staging, issuing, and shipping activities
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy (SOX compliance)
  • Manage shelf life tracking and in-storage maintenance for critical components
  • Serve as primary liaison between warehouse, logistics, and procurement
  • Lead site vehicle fleet operations and compliance
  • Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment
  • Coordinate material transfers and generate inventory reports and charts
  • Use warehouse systems and tools for tracking and reporting

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of warehouse supervision or material control experience
  • Inventory management and material handling experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Forklift certified or willing to obtain certification
  • Experience with SAP inventory management (Preferred)
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with MAS 200 or similar inventory tracking software (Preferred)
  • Shipping experience using UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL, and international carriers (Preferred)

  • Work is on-site in a warehouse/outdoor environment
  • Requires physical labor, multitasking, and the ability to work under time constraints
  • Must be flexible to work occasional weekends or holidays if needed
  • No driving, NERC, or ERCOT access required
