Project Estimator

Location: Tulsa, OK (Remote-friendly)

Compensation: $90,000–$100,000

Our Client , an established and rapidly growing electrical products and services company headquartered in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to support its growing project portfolio. As the company evolves from a family-run operation to a professionally managed organization, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of its estimating systems and processes.

This is a remote-friendly position. Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of estimating experience in an industrial environment and possess strong medium-voltage electrical knowledge , coupled with experience estimating building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare competitive, detailed cost estimates for enclosed control systems , packaged equipment systems , electrical motors , and full building structures.
• Evaluate material, labor, and time requirements using technical drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders—engineering, sales, production, and procurement—to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain pricing and stay aligned with deadlines.
• Contribute to bid proposals and identify opportunities to reduce cost and risk.
• Participate in the ongoing development of new estimating software and tools.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in industrial settings (medium-voltage: 480V to 12kV and up to 35kVA).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and building construction components.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and one-line diagrams .
• Experience with estimating software such as McCormick, Sage, Planswift, ConstructConnect, or Accubid .
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• CAD experience is a plus but not required.
